Need to rehome a black lab

Recommended Posts

Hate to even post this but we can’t keep our Black Lab Murphy (5 years old) any longer. Trying to find him another home. He’s gotten too aggressive with my sisters dog. He’s gotten grouchy as he’s gotten older I guess. We just don’t want to run the risk of him lashing out on our two year old boy. Would probably be a good dog for someone with no other dogs or kids. We are located in the Safford area. Message me if interested. We don’t need or want any rehoming fee just wanna give him a chance at a good home/different situation. I’d be willing to bring him to you.

Went through that 30 years ago with two of them. Mother was a GSP and father was a Chocolate Lab. One yellow male was mellow with people but aggressive with the Choc who didn't like anyone with a tan.

I'm no Cesar Millan. Some are just strong headed.

If you don’t have any luck, try contacting Desert Labs rescue for help. They do a great job of vetting new homes, it would just depend if they have room or a foster available.

Also check with SOLR (Southwest Oasis Lab Rescue) if it comes to that. Like NOTAGS said they also do great at vetting and fostering. We have a SOLR dog in our family. Wish we had more room for yours. Good luck!
