Happy Trails Report post Posted 6 hours ago Had a situation where my Son was deployed and while I attempted to forfeit a tag for him it didn't pan out. Obviously, he could not be present and complications with access to tech for completing the application and mailing it in with a physical tag while it was somewhere in a storage unit state side. When I called, there were no provisions beyond the policy for a case like this. In hiensite, one could proactively complete and keep said paperwork on hand for someone if you had the forethought and means to do so in advance. BPs lost, tag wasted. Sharing for awareness. A hunt permit-tag must be surrendered prior to the close of business the day before the start of that particular hunt. *Note: for the holidays a drop box will be available at each regional and Phoenix headquarters office. An applicant who has purchased PointGuard will present the original hunt permit-tag to be surrendered, along with a completed tag surrender application form, in person to any customer service representative at any of the department’s statewide office locations, or by mailing the hunt permit-tag and tag surrender application form to AZGFD, Attn: Draw, 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85086.
Coues247 Report post Posted 6 hours ago Unless it was a last second decision you could have gotten a duplicate tag and used that to return the tag. Only tech needed is a printer to print out the form.

(Rarity depending on your post) Then there is the whole lead time of the mail service. If it came up again, we would have it all prepared in advance.
