PRDATR Report post Posted Tuesday at 11:55 PM So who has been? We are going in December, 1st week. I am looking to fish at least two days. Bucket list fish for me are Bonefish and Sailfish. Thought about Swordfish but it looks a bit boring. Waiting to hear back from Captain Rick Murphy.
Shooter McGavin Report post Posted Wednesday at 12:06 AM Been to Key West for drinking and site seeing only, never for fishing. Only fished in the Everglades in and around the 10,000 islands, but if you can go after snook, redfish, large jewfish and tarpon you won’t be disappointed. I've caught all of those except jewfish but I have caught the bottom a few times. Might do a reef trip for meat fish.

Markleo21377 Report post Posted Wednesday at 08:39 PM We stayed on Big Pine Key a few years back and fished almost every day. Fished pine channel a bunch and also the Spanish harbor bridge. It was a riot because you never knew what you were going to hook into. caught shark, snapper, tarpon, Goliath grouper, jack crevalle, probably a few others I can’t remember. Fisherman’s paradise for sure! Enjoy!

We will have a boat dock so I thought about renting a boat for a couple of days.

I had family from Michigan that would spend a couple months down there in the winter and had some friends with a boat. We did most of our fishing from the dock on the canal. Not sure if the place is still around but there was a restaurant on big pine key that had a dynamite lobster Rueben that wasn’t to pricey.
