Thank God for skid plates, and fuel tanks thats was the only thing that keep me from going down any further! Several hours of digging and winching with a come along got me out. GameHauler Report post Posted March 14, 2009 Looks Like a HECK of a lot of fun to me I need directions please. Looks like a great place for a central AZ CWT get together. Amanda and Clay, take your Jeeps. I will pull you out for the cost of 1 sticker each rescue:D My house sure is going to look purdy with a CWT sticker on EVERY window
azyota Report post Posted March 15, 2009 I have never been up there myself, but I know some guys that make an annual 4-wheeling/camping trip up there. Looks like fun but you better be ready to get wet and muddy, even in a Jeep I'm partial to the 79-85 Toyotas with a straight front axle (hence the name azyota). Hard to beat for the money. CouesWhitetail Report post Posted March 15, 2009 I can attest that it's rough in Eagle Creek!! I have ATV'd in there and it beats you up! I would hate to take a vehicle in there. I am surprised Scott Adams hasn't posted....he just emailed me pics of the ATV extraction they had to do because they broke a frame on the ATV!! ScottAdams Report post Posted March 15, 2009 Yea we were down on Eagle Creek this week. We didn't drive trucks down though, we took the atv's. The boys did pretty well. Here they are poking a stick trying to roust out a beaver. Parked at fishing hole. A cactus in bloom, precariously perched on a ledge above the creek. A couple of the boys were on little 2-wheel drive atv and had a lot of fun popping wheelies. Here are some of the fish they caught.
