No, read it. Randy is the only person I know who has killed numerous 200" bucks with OTC archery kills. Don't think he uses a gun.

its because early rifle hunts occur as mule deer are transitioning from summer range to pre-rut range.  They are super hard to locate those weeks, so G&F can sell more tags, with lower success, and make more money.

Yeah, I know. that’s why I said they suck compared to the archery.

Buddy we’re in a thread about OTC units and you’re talking about kaibab. I said who killed 2 200” in the otc units early rifle and you Mention Randy ulmer archery kills. And bojanlges commenting that he finds giants on the archery which I wasn’t arguing then confirming that the early rifle is harder.

I can’t with this thread 

The rifle hunts are tricky.  I got 16 points, not sure what to do.  I want a strip tag, but now I’m confident I could get at least a 180 out of  a regular unit, but do I want to burn 16 points on a sub-par unit, and gamble that someone won’t bugger my hunt up?  I still can’t draw a December tag in a sub par unit with 16 points.
