But you are right, however God doesn't ask you to be a doormat either (referring to the food bank comment). Even Jesus set boundaries as well as does God. Something I've seen a lot of Christians including my parents not know when to draw the line. Just saying don't let yourself get trampled on and abused.
Oakley Report post Posted February 12 Az is a fence out state. If the ranchers don’t want the wildlife on their property then fence them out land owner tags should not be even a topic. All wild game in AZ belong to the people. Some Ranch owners are crying predators are killing our livestock but try to get permission to call or trap on that same land..
4huntrs Report post Posted February 12 12 hours ago, stillatmaxpoints said: The landowner does not own the game animal but they do supply water and browse and grazing for wildlife, water is the key, most of the units in northern Az especially the coconino plateau was devoid of water and wildlife in the 1800's until the ranching ventures developed waters for livestock, early explorers verify that. And Game and Fish provides gates, miles of poly pipe and water hole projects that helps cattle and wildlife. Our money from licensing and tag fees.

Agree 100%, this reminds me of ranchers in TX who are "decimated" by the feral hogs..... but want $500 for a 150# hog. No thanks. Keep crying.

wildwoody Report post Posted February 12 Man dug water holes. Not following besides you don't like ranchers. I don't care either way. But some people are awfully concerned about other peoples property. That was a great song.

It's the critters on the land that we own, and the private property owner being able to sell our animals for profit.
HuntHarder Report post Posted February 12 Easy to see who owns land on here and who doesn't. If I owned a large ranch I would want a land owner tag. Non-transferable and only valid for your land. That is how some states do it and I completely agree with it. Now, if you restrict wildlife from coming and going freely, then no.
