Doesn't surprise me. G&f still gets the processing fee and licence $$. Making money off landlocked land that elk don't get hunted in already unless you pay...

Oryx is not able to inter breed in Az. Maybe the ranchers are looking to expand with money from the raffle tag money they got to cut down junipers.

I hope all those in favor of stopping this legislation are writing/calling their state representatives.  You got to do more than just post here.

Access fees since they own the land? Absolutely. Landowner tags? Absolutely not. As stated we the people on the animals not the landowner.

Antlerless tags for deeded land only, that would make sense.

OrO is charging 500 a day for antlerless tags. Not bad if you can scout for free and get it done. It's almost a guaranteed tag. Growing up my whole life around big ranchers has shown me that the good ole boy system is hard to fight especially when the all follow the same prophet.

It’s true that when landowners approach these issues as a unified community it can be tough for other, less cohesive voices to be heard.

I don’t see anyone’s faith being a major component of the issue. Rather it’s a community of like minded neighbors working together for what they feel is the best interest of their profession and lifestyle. It is on us to synchronize our voices in a way that they carry equal weight with AHJ’s.

Are you guys okay with landowner tags?

How much land do you have to own to get one. That would determine if I'm for or against.

J/K I'm against the idea.
