What you seeing and where?

Going out to set a blind Thursday morning with my wife got her hooked up with a bow hoping to get her first deer this weekend!

Have seen a ton of does but nothing chasing them, chasing the pigs harder than the deer because I’d rather get a velvet buck this fall

I’ve had a buddy and his wife from Montana hunting down here pretty much everyday since it opened in Dec. lots of solo bucks until last week. Last few days big boys have had herds and big one this morning ran a doe ragged. Good luck 👊

Still slow down here.  3 bucks this am  one was a shooter all solo.  Saw several does by themselves.

A friend who lives in central AZ and sees deer from his house nearly every day said he just noticed bucks chasing does around this week.  No big bucks yet but he is finally seeing evidence of a rut.  He normally starts to see some action the week between Christmas and new year.

Been on bucks quite a bit the last week with my son.  All bucks without does.  Yesterday took the wife for a drive and ran into a herd of 8 does and 1 spike together.  This is central

Dandy buck, STWslinger! Congrats. I would love to hear the story.

I sat one of my favorite waters till 11:30. Only saw one doe and a turkey that did laps around it for 4 hours. Decided to take my chair and lunch back to the truck and check another water that’s about a mile back from that one. I began to walk it and saw a doe walking through the real thick stuff about 35 yards away. She started squatting and throwing her tail up like estrus does do, so I figured she had a buck with her. I set up where I had a shooting lane if there was a buck that took the same path, and sure enough he did. There were really tight windows so only real good shot I had was a touch more forward than I like, but at 35 yards I knew I could do it. I let it fly and he dropped right there. As I was taking pictures I had another smaller buck almost run me over going down the same trail as the doe. They are fired up down here at-least. He was about 6000ft elevation and I’m right off the border. Good luck and I hope you guys start seeing more action!
