azhuntnut Report post Posted January 12 I would like to hear feedback on which loader you are using. The good and bad. Considering purchasing the Hornady lock n load model, but open to other models. David
Viper Report post Posted January 13 I went the less expensive route with a Lee Classic Turret press. It's not as fast as a Dillon but a lot faster than a single stage.
bustedknuckleinc Report post Posted January 13 Really can’t beat Dillon considering they’re world renowned as the best and they’re located in AZ. There customer service is fantastic as well.

az41mag Report post Posted January 13 I can't speak about the Hornady model you mentioned or to the other brands out there, but I have a Dillon 550c that I use for bulk pistol loads that I really like. The only issue I have ever had was one of the linkage rods needed to be bent ever so slightly to make it line up correctly. After that it's been smooth as silk. I will say that it took a little time to get everything set up the first time using it, but I think that's more a case of learning and understanding a new machine than difficulty of operation. Good luck in your search.
452b264 Report post Posted January 13 I have a Dillion square deal B. I bought it used from a CWT member. Its great for pistol calibers and I dont think I will ever get rid of it, but If I was going out to buy a brand new press I would look at the Dillion 550 c. Its really versatile. Dillions customer service is excellent.
