I elk hunt every year in Arizona since 2012

 

ive drawn an bull tag in Arizona every year since 2012 rifle , early archery , late archery late rifle Success rate 70%

I’d rather collect points or eat my tag than shoot anything under 365. Screwed up on my last tag in 2013. dang 10” kicker got me stupid 

however my buddies elk this year was seriously delicious. So I don’t blame anyone for meat hunting. If they all tasted that good

Whatever it takes to get the hunt I want. I haven’t missed a September chasing bulls since 2001. That’s all I need. Some times I get 2 mornings. Sometimes I get a week. But as long is get out in September

I guess the difference is the. Tag is in my name. With out and entourage.

I don’t care that much about hunting for myself. Just my personal opinion. I’d rather chase bugles in September for fun by myself than hunt mediocre in the cold  with a tag in my name
