ThisIsMyHandle Report post Posted December 30, 2024 Hello everyone, name is Rich. I’m from Connecticut. I’m hoping to make it out there for the January 2026 archery season. Not looking for anything from anyone. I already have pins and units in mind. I’ll probably just lurk around here and post once in awhile.

wildwoody Report post Posted December 30, 2024 Love it when my cousins come out from jersey, they realized our hills are there mountains and the canyons scare the heck out of them. Then the altitude difference of 1 mile. Welcome I think this guy is real and not AI. Goodluck

You got a particular unit in mind? I have a couple of the southern units I’m looking at. I was originally looking north of phoenix in Tonto but I want to camp out and I think it’s going to be cold and snowy up in those mountains.

ThisIsMyHandle Report post Posted December 31, 2024 I definitely am not interested in asking anyone for units, pins or spots. If I have any questions it’ll probably be weather related. Im not a stranger to actual mountains.

bigbuckfever Report post Posted December 31, 2024 If you're going to do spot n stalk, you might want to practice for AZ desert mountains by spreading a box of frosted flakes on the floor and try walking on them without making any noise. Only half kidding here. The best advice I got when I started hunting for Coues was "sore butts and tired eyes". Bring the best binos (and a tripod) you can afford. Have fun.
