SXS Mechanics on CWT? - Honda Pioneer 1000

Recommended Posts

Any SXS mechanics on CWT?

Honda Pioneer 1000 turned off yesterday while driving- was running fine, just shut off. Will turn over but won't start., lights, wench, etc work.

Doesn't display the gear on dash (P, H, L, R) normally it does. Also, normally wouldn't turn over with key while in a gear if brake is not pressed, now it will turn over.

Thought I asked before taking to Nash.

Sorry to hear. I have the same rig and luckily haven't had any issues.  Are you going to take it to the new Nash right there on Elliot and Ellsworth if needed? I drive by it almost every morning and was wondering how the service was.  I have been taking mine to Western Powersports in Scottsdale to have it serviced and it is a pain. I could drive it to Nash. Good luck with the repairs.

Mine has 9000 miles and really no  issues  - except for a wiring harness that got frayed... still runs strong...love it.

Well.... I am embarrassed to say after the ordeal my son and I had yesterday... the 15A IGA fuse was blown.  determined it was error code 63 - reviewed the service manual and first thing manual  said was to check the fuse.... yep fuse blown.

Strange since it would still turnover but not start.

See if the manual tells you what circuit that fuse controls and then check plugs and that bit of wiring or component it controls. Something caused it to blow.
