Dustins' coes head

Recommended Posts

post-3284-1236184932_thumb.jpg This is a picture I am posting for my buddy Dustin(AZantlerhead). This is a coues head he found this last weekend 2/28. Dustin is known for having a knack for finding the such. Sorry the picture isn't the best quality. It was taken of from video footage he took because we didn't have a digital camera at the time. This is how the head was laying when he found it. Not a world record, but an exciting find none the less. I would imagine it to score in the 80's. For best we could tell it had died about a year and a half ago. The antlers were still brown and there was no crack line between the skullbone and the button like he was ready to shed.

Thanks Jason. I scored it last night. 91 7/8- 85 3/8. It will look cool on the wall 4 sure. That bigger elk shed went 154. And the chewed up coues set went 87 and change without a spread. Thanks for the posts.

You didn't mention the 12+ sheds YOU left laying! Like a seasoned big buck hunter, Jason is picky about what sheds to bring back. I brought all my finds out, 10 antlers. Jason packed 8 out, but in his humbleness didn't mention the many he left. You the man! (he actually found 20+ horns  How about that set you found on top of eachother, got a pic of that?

The commedy highlight of this trip was an old hoot owl who camped out both nights, we suspect he is the culprit that took off with one of Jasons spare hiking shoes   . To funny and wierd!!! maybe Bigfoot needed a new left boot?haha, what the!

You fordot the U in coues, I'm sure I've done that too, Before i got on this site I thought it was cooz , Like coors. Or cows deer,  You're a newbie so we'll let it slide buddy ;)
