IA Born Report post Posted December 1, 2024 Had a warranty issue with my daughter's previous Vortex and they replaced it with their new line of Viper HDs, in 5-25x50 SFP with the VMR-3 MOA reticle. Just got it in from UPS tonight. Won't be mounting it on my daughter's rifle because its way too much for her 7mm-08. Want to go a different route and get something similar to the 4-16x50 Viper HS LR she had. Reticle has the illumination option with included CR2032 battery. Took it out of the box tonight to look at it and admire it. Custom turrets are available with the included coupon. 1/4 adjustments, 30mm tube. Not sure when I'll be coming to the valley to do a F2F, but its possible. I'll be traveling to WV tomorrow for work training and will return to Flagstaff Friday, Dec 6, so I may be slow to respond to messages or replies here. Will do my best to get to them during breaks or after the work day ends. Vortex lists MSRP at $1299.99. All websites I'm seeing list this scope at $899.99. I'll let it go for $800 and buyer pays shipping. Price is fairly firm, but I will entertain reasonable offers. Worst case is I'll do a big scope swap in the safe and this could end up on my 30-06, but I'd rather this go to a good home who will use it at its full potential.
