Jalt Report post Posted November 17 Tough decision, I just recently retired an live in the northeast valley having access to Mcdowell Mountains and Rio Verde and was hoping for some help in hunting this coming December and January for a crossbow mule deer hunt. As a avid hiking and runner, I know there are nice mule deer in Unit 25M but never seen anyone hunting archery for them, plus never seen a water catchment tank where I could set up a blind. Now I've hunted elk in 18A and it is a tough hunt but mule deer is present and feel my time maybe better spent just going north. Any suggestions on how to approach 2024 OTC hunt.
