stanley Report post Posted November 15 Of course like a lot of us, as an AZ native I have been used to the 'opener' being on a Friday. From about age 8, I would get out of school on opening day to go hunting with dad and his buddies. When I moved to Utah to go to college, it was CRAZY. Opening day for deer season was on Saturday, but basically all public schools (K-12) were closed on that Friday for deer season. Utah had it figured out!!! (Rifle deer tags were also 'over the counter' in Utah, then. I thought that was SO cool, coming from AZ....) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
