Bow recommendations?

First post, I am 15 years old and want to get into bow hunting I've killed deer and javelina before with a rifle but I would like to try bow, any budget bow recommendations?

I would go to the bow shops in town and shoot several of them.  Find what fits you and you like and then start scouring the internet and find a used one. Everyone will have a different opinion to which is best. Good luck.

Bear Alaskan and Darton Consequence get rated high for budget class.

Used is also a good option since I dont think anything depreciates as fast as bows...

Used Diamond Infinite Edge Pro series are available both LH and RH for around $200 retail.  Often they come outfitted with accessories as the seller grows into a newer bow.  They are decent shooting bows, and adjustable to 70#.  Something in this range would allow you to get started while saving your $$ for a more expensive setup once you have learned form, muscle memory and concentration.  Get some instruction, so you don't have to break bad habits like the rest of us!

Try a bunch out and see what  your comfortable  with . Absolutely  go to a reputable  archery shop and have them size you for draw length  . It's definitely  important  your bow fits you correctly  . No offense  to anyone  but bass pro or cabelas is not a place  to get fitted for a bow!  Archery headquarters, ross,bear mtn ,are just some of the reputable  archery shops I'm sure I'm missing  some but you get the idea.

Just getting back into it seriously and can’t believe what’s happened to archery prices. New bows fully equipped are in custom rifle territory 👀

Make sure you know which eye is dominant which you should already know if rifle hunting, just saying.  You will also need to know your draw length.  And the best bang for your buck will be a used bow.  If you go used I'd ask the seller to maybe meat you at a bow shop just to look it over and I'd ask about availability of limbs and I'd assume a new string from the get go.  Alternatively whatch some YouTube videos on what to look for buying a used bow.  

I would post a thread in the classifieds saying you are looking for a bow.  I know some guys here may even be inclined just to give you one they don't want or use anymore.  It's nice to see a youngster coming up in the sport of archery.
