1uglydude Report post Posted November 12 Spent the better part of this morning trying to change the starter out of a 2011 Honda Pilot. I can’t get the last bolt out of a bracket that will allow me to access the last bolt on the starter. Nothing is stuck, I am just not mechanically inclined enough to figure it out. Looking for a mobile mechanic that can come to me finish it out. Once the starter is in I plan to sell it…just not a fan of the idea of selling a car that can’t be driven away. Yes, having a garage/truck full of tools makes a big difference. I've pretty much always done my own mechanic work and I've even had to "make" a tool in order to be able to get something fixed. I know Wildwood and trust him and know I could trust his son. Great, solid people with really amazing work ethics. I'm even thinking about asking his son to take care of a few things on vehicles for me, and I've seldom trusted others to work on my vehicles. But I'm getting too old to efficiently work on my vehicle and equipment. Best wishes.
