AZbowhntr Report post Posted November 11 I also have the Zeiss HD5's on both of my main hunting rifles. I used to have Vortex on all my rifles until I had a low light situation that cost me a mountain lion and I upgraded everything.

L Cazador Report post Posted November 11 I use nothing but Nightforce but you're getting a heavy scope and a high priced scope. For a budget scope, I like the Leupold Mark 3 HD, 8X24X50mm. At $700 it's a really great scope. Not too keen on the Tactical milling reticle but for the price and performance I'll put up with it. It's always out for stock for good reason, so good luck finding one.
NAZCOUES Report post Posted November 12 Hard to beat Trijicon for under $1,000. Look at the Credo or Ten Mile models.
