ISO 5.56 factory brass ammo

Recommended Posts

Looking to buy 5.56 1k to 5k rounds depending on price. FMJ to stockpile so nothing fancy. Had terrible luck with online shipping so looking to buy face to face.

I am a long time member, AZ id and CCW holder. I am in Tucson. Will head up to munds park for our elk hunt after Thanksgiving and NW Phx area for the holidays.

Thanks

I ordered a "few" online.

I was expecting it. The FedEx driver dropped off a small, way to small for what I ordered, box. I ran out and caught him just before he could put it in drive.

The box was for someone else at a different address.

He walked my package which two hands to carry back to me and took the small one back without saying a word.

He was intentionally leaving an incorrect package. I have had buddies call FedEx to complain but nothing is done because the driver stopped at their house.

He certainly tried to. If I was not home when the delivery was made I would have been.

My buddy was ripped off. FedEx would not even let him make a claim. According to them his package was delivered.

That's crazy and just to bad we can't order the stuff without worrying about the shipper stealing our shoot.

My greatest concern with a small manufacturer is the quality control. True quality control ads cost to the final product while greatly reducing the likelihood of a product that is dangerously out of spec. The greatest the quantity manufactured the lower the per unit additional cost, to a point. Also the quality of the quality control typically increases in a larger company that can afford a full time, highly trained quality controller. My wife has been a highly educated certified quality Manager in the chemical industry for many years and setup a few well known companies with quality systems and carried them into ISO certifications when they initial did not have an existing quality system. Due to many nighttime discussions on quality problems and human rigidly against change and documentation, I have become somewhat knowledgeable via association to a highly educated and trained professional, my wife, as she implemented and maintained those companies quality systems.

Thus, I am more aware and concerned knowing that most smaller companies do not have strong, indepth, quality systems in place.

It only takes one quality failure to kill someone in the reloading business.

Once ammo is out for delivery  it's gone . They will  not pick it back up if it's delivered to the wrong  address  which  plays into the theft part . My friends mom had some dropped  at her door they don't  have guns . Tried to get them to pick it back up and they told her no. She didn't  even know  it was ammo lol . I told  her it was ammo 7.62 x 54 r and she said  I could  have it . I sold it here  and sent her the money.
