Weird observation? Or lucky?

So i re seed my lawn every year and it usually is covered with dove and collard dove. This year no dove at all? Same for anyone else or am i getting lucky this year? Live in east valley

You’re getting lucky. They didn’t hit me but neighbor across the street is getting hammered!

Are you using the coated grass seed? Some folks don't realize there is a bird repellant seed coating on grass seed. Pennington brand is one.

I’m in north west Peoria and I get few birds this year but I think my pup did a good job running them off

roll deoderized manure over it. makes happy grass and a good deterrent for animals. We overseed first week in october.

I always did that. The seeds sprout in 3 days, 4 at the most. I would buy quality bagged seed not the bulk stuff as that has a higher percentage of non-grass seed and you get more weeds.
