Recommended Posts

I’m not sure about brands but I’ve been using the black ovis game bags for about 10years . Same set no issues.

looks like they are on Amazon now

I have the horn hunter bags. They have held up for the last 5 years without issue. If I buy again,  I'll get the mystery ranch bags just because I use their pack and their bags attach to the frame and give another point of contact to hold it secure without any movement.

Pillow cases.

+1

I get mine at Big Lots (2 for $5.00) durable, washable and reusable. $10 and some change you can get a whole elk out.

Also been using black ovis. But pillows cases also work just fine as mentioned above. No need to overspend for kuiu.

High quality king size pillow cases from Goodwill.  My wife buys them on 50% off day for $1-2/ea.

Last bull I dropped off at Casey's he loved my Ralph Lauren game bags.  Great thread count.

Try and shoot them close to the road. At that point, you won’t need game bags. My last elk I used cheese cloth style bags with no issue. 1/2-3/4 mile from the road. Meat bees are your biggest enemy. They’ll get into any bag no matter the cost or distance.
