AZCoueser Report post Posted October 21 Talk to me about game bags. Is there a big difference between brands? How many liters do I need for a coues buck? Was looking at getting the Kuiu Large Deer set. Overkill?
oz31p Report post Posted October 21 I’m not sure about brands but I’ve been using the black ovis game bags for about 10years . Same set no issues. looks like they are on Amazon now

northAZarcher Report post Posted October 21 I have the horn hunter bags. They have held up for the last 5 years without issue. If I buy again, I'll get the mystery ranch bags just because I use their pack and their bags attach to the frame and give another point of contact to hold it secure without any movement. 100Shots Report post Posted October 21 Regarding brands, I'm not sure, but you might choose the black ovis.
CatfishKev Report post Posted October 22 Also been using black ovis. But pillows cases also work just fine as mentioned above. No need to overspend for kuiu.

I didn't know Marsupial Gear made these but will look into them. Thanks for posting.
Shane.A.Luke Report post Posted October 22 High quality king size pillow cases from Goodwill. My wife buys them on 50% off day for $1-2/ea. Last bull I dropped off at Casey's he loved my Ralph Lauren game bags. Great thread count. 6 1
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted October 22 Try and shoot them close to the road. At that point, you won’t need game bags. My last elk I used cheese cloth style bags with no issue. 1/2-3/4 mile from the road. Meat bees are your biggest enemy. They’ll get into any bag no matter the cost or distance.
