Need a good boot repair recomendation.

Recommended Posts

As titled.

I have a pair of Kenetreks that I need re-soled. I had Kenetrek do it last time and was not impressed.

I am hoping for something in the East Valley, but not an absolute.

Thanks in advance.

Ed's shoe repair in Tempe has fixed a few things for me over the years and always has done great work.
My son had a pair of Kenetreks redone by Kenetrek and not impressed either..

Not in the Valley but in Tucson I have had a few pairs of boots resoled at El Con Shoe Repair off Broadway west of Swan and been pleased, $85-95 with quality Vibram soles usually a 2 week turnaround.

Place off Warner Rd North Side West of I10.  I think by Pep Boys.  Had them do my Danners 2 yrs ago.  Great job.

That’s Ed’s.  He’s a good old fashion cobbler dude.  Eastern European or something.

This is for a shop in Tucson. I realize this wont work for you, but for people looking for a great shop in Tucson I have used and recommend Alpine boot and shoe repair ar Pantano and Broadway. Run by two old guys older than me. Great work, Great price.

Thanks for the recommendation! I got a few stitches torn on my lowas that need repairs. I live right near there so that’s nice.

Do you recall what he charged? I have a pair of Bullrun Chelsea’s with worn out soles. They’re ugly as sin but fit like a glove.

I had a pair redone too. I  want to say $100ish with the sole but man I can’t recall. He did hand stitch up a double bull for me and way undercharged me for that.  He’s a good dude.

Dave Page the cobbler

Second Dave Page.  He did good work on my boots.  Not Kenetrek boots, but similar mountain boot that needed a vibram resole

This makes me happy I have never bought boots worthy of replacing parts on
