dutchmanazA1 Report post Posted October 12, 2024 My gas water heater is approaching retirement, and I'm considering having it replaced with a new style heat pump water heater. WIth SRP and Federal rebates (subject to energy star ratings and installation by "approved" people) the cost appears to be roughly on par with a regular gas heater. Would appreciate any insight from anyone who has done this as well as a good plumber to do the work. One caveat is that I'm unsure of the electrical requirement (breaker size etc.) which will likely need to be checked first. Thanks in advance
dutchmanazA1 Report post Posted October 14, 2024 I had someone come out and give me a quote, followed by another company who also gave a quote. NFW - can't afford it and would never get any return on the "investment". I know things have become more expensive, but dang!
