CatfishKev Report post Posted October 7, 2024 Who's gonna be there? Will be camping across the road from the main campground. Charcoal grey f250 with company signs. If you see me flip me off or stop and say howdy, either one is just fine. 2

CatfishKev Report post Posted October 8, 2024 Colcord campground just south of the 260 on the young road (512 road I think). Super stoked, it's been years since since we were all up as a family. Minus the 2 oldest this time.

Good luck and have a blast. Elk youth is my all-time favorite hunt. I would take this over my own archery deer tags any day. 1

Crazymonkey Report post Posted October 8, 2024 Good luck to all the kids!! Elk and deer numbers seem to be up in 6a . It should be similar in most all the elk units. We just came back to the heat . It was in the low 80's during the day and down in the 50's at night in 6a. The Payson area should be about 10/15 degrees hotter so be prepared and drink lots of water . It did take quite awhile for the tem drop to feel good at night. Have fun Kev kids hunts are great.
