Months ago When that dude made the thread about deer hunting there, saying he was gonna have the same special access as sheep hunters.

  I called cabeza to verify that, and they said no and that sheep hunters don’t have special access. I thought the dude was just ignorant but I guess after reading this it checks out.

Just talked to my buddy who was there last season, he confirmed they were not allowed to use that road.

I will be getting my SUP tomorrow. Yes I will have access to the top of Childs mountain. Waiting to see what happens with the road south of CB.

you’ll be good. You can hike to temporal if you really want to get in there. That’s where they killed the 179 or whatever it was in 2019. Packing in enough water would be the hard part
 

Get the range road 1 permit and put me on it and let’s hunt north growlers backpacking
