Wtb 2014 ranger crew roof

Recommended Posts

We are looking for a roof for our 2014 Polaris ranger crew. Ours flew off on the highway on the way back from an elk hunt. Please let me know if you have one available. Thank you

I made mine out of aluminum! Cheaper than a stock one. Bought a sheet at Industrial Metal and had it cut and bent at Get Bent..... 45 on front and 90 on back and snipped the front corners at 45! Screwed it down to the roof with self tappers. You can stand on it.....wont rust... Good Luck

I did the same and loved it for a while. Could never get rid of all of the rattles though.

I'd put some weather stripping between the aluminum and the rails, then screw it down. Should help with rattle. A thicker sheet will probably help it be less noisy.

One thing I did do was use those rubber washers from HD when I mounted it originally. I installed about 1/4" of rubber under every screw. It was a necessary part of securing it down tight. I know all the car guys probably cringe when they hear holes and self tappers.

I cant remember the thickness or the density of aluminum, I do remember it wasn't the hardest they had.
