If yours doesn't have a hole in the side of it and is rebuildable I can rebuild it for you.

Don't know for sure, I think it's just a  head gasket but I would want to go through it and get it right. What is a top estimate on the rebuild and where are you located? I am in Snowflake.

3.0 Toyotas are famous for blowing the driver's rear head gasket. I'm in Chandler.

Sure. It'll be a rough estimate as it could change once the engine gets taken apart and actually see what's damaged and worn. Let's communicate through PM and you can give me your number to communicate easier.

I have always heard that swapping in a later model 3.4 is the way to the go.   The 3.0 had issues, and the 3.4 solves a bunch of them.   I would look into that.

My son told me this, I wasn’t sure if it. Was possible with that year etc! Definitely going to look into that option!

You could also look at a JDM replacement engine

Jdm is the way to go.  I’ve done it….don’t regret it.

The 3.4 swap is most certainly the way to go. It is a little costly, but with a 3.4 you do not loose power, like you would with a 22re swap. And the 3.4 is an amazing engine if its maintained.
