washingtondc Report post Posted August 10 Are there two types of white-tailed deer in the Ft Davis Mountains? I have seen distinct groups with some looking like the larger Texas white-tailed deer and others looking like the Coues deer. I have also been to the Huachuca Mountains and Chiricahua Mountains where I have also photographed Coues deer. I have photographs of Carmen Mountain white-tailed deer in Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park. Their ears are smaller than Coues deer. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
