Haven't used it yet. It took a long time for me to warm up to them but they definitly have their purpose. Especially when hunting solo. I don't think they are legal for Elk or Turkey. 654321 Report post Posted August 10 I'm still waiting for a response from one of the employees that was on the team for the listening technology rule, but what I've gotten so far is that the rule is intended to get out ahead of the technology that would allow acoustic recording devices that can gather data linked to satellites and then somehow be downloaded to datafiles that then can be tied to gps technology or something like that.
