5nRamirez Report post Posted August 5 Every year i try and escape the Az heat and fill the freezer. This year was a great late run of sockeye salmon. With fish counts in the 100,000's it made for easy limits. The weather also cooperated to get in a day of halibut fishing out of Homer. 15

Viper Report post Posted August 5 I also fished the Kenai River for the first time. Was there July 13th - 20th. It was awesome! Brought back 53 pounds of salmon. Went to Homer but did not fish.
Flatlander Report post Posted August 6 You crushed it! Those sockeye look awesome. We fished on the Kenai over July 4th. Great trip. Sockeyes and Halibut were what we targeted too. Mostly chickens and our sockeye were much smaller.
