pwrguy Report post Posted July 27 I am in the market for something like this to use for camping and possibly even work at times https://www.amazon.com/CROWN-SHADES-Patented-Instant-Designed/dp/B0CKYWC1CJ/ref=sr_1_17_sspa?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.rhAUqMa8tKTKZ3odQ-A3v4jZGHknDr5x_Y5r4KJSbUCMbTnDhZNjMy9jvMoMljnEusg5DARV4biVEomYd36GFfdRGwkEgJ0WMWq50Cwt_8l4kpIdegCpQKy3RVyF8Tife2sFZ21F2gzK-qSwOKwBYZwTBnQ2ridSqr5Ipvj4UQ09_P_EBMJD9VZyuSFMJgup0jaJD501zV4O6GckdbIMYgpFyrrvrT9sz9E7J3HqlhE.q-46RdDv4vu_E5OFkMgM9yZg_W7aOhYXE7csKappNck&dib_tag=se&keywords=Portable%2Bshade&qid=1722100748&sr=8-17-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1 Does anyone on the forum have any suggestions? Looking for something with at least a little durability, I do understand about how easy it is to get wind damaged. Thanks
ctafoya Report post Posted July 27 I've used those pop ups for years fornjust about everything. Even in the wind if they are weighted down they are good to go. It wouldn't trust it for monsoon whether or snow.
pwrguy Report post Posted July 27 Yeah...I figured I would need some weights and rope or some solid stakes to keep it in place. Anybody have a particular brand they like or are they all the same stuff?
Viper Report post Posted July 27 Check the price on the Ozark Trails at Walmart. I bought one a few years ago and was really impressed with it. It has held up great. I just stake the feet with tent stake nails and guy down the corners. Get the straight leg version or the actual shade dimension is reduced.
