STOMP442 Report post Posted July 26 Sweetest caliber going in my opinion. Walks all over a Creedmoor and will do anything the new PRC will do with way less powder. I built my wife one and she is pushing a 140 Berger vld at 2940fps with 43gr of H4350. Its a killer, one an done on everything she has shot with it. Nice build! looks like its going to be a shooter.

Havnt made time to reload but it shoots the remington standard really well fire forming so im guessing it will tighten up a few more percent. The Ackley shoulder gives more room at top end of powder charge. It should allow for higher velocity with less powder from what Im told, over the standard rem case. Ive got a 260rem now and AI’s have always been appealing to me. Ive thought about having the chamber reamed to AI but not sure the gain is worth the cost. It makes an already great cartridge into an incredible one.

MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted September 7 13 hours ago, STOMP442 said: Yep, I did. Wondering if you had any light primer strikes when fire forming? I might be slightly long on my headspace. I get close to 1 of 10 rounds no ignition. I put a new primer in and then no issue. Also notice the light strikes are on rounds that measure shorter by a few thousandths on gage line.
