7 shots at 200 with one other string in between. Modified factory nosler 130 match with 2900 fps claim.  Fire forming as well.
2890 to 2960 actual after unloading 3  grains of powder from each case and setting bullet back to .02 off lands. Can’t wait to reload for this.

Sweetest caliber going in my opinion. Walks all over a Creedmoor and will do anything the new PRC will do with way less powder. I built my wife one and she is pushing a 140 Berger vld at 2940fps with 43gr of H4350. Its a killer, one an done on everything she has shot with it. Nice build! looks like its going to be a shooter.

That Reamer worked out great, thanks for that

How does the standard rem version compare to the AI’d version?

Havnt made time to reload but it shoots the remington standard really well fire forming so im guessing it will tighten up a few more percent. The Ackley shoulder gives more room at top end of powder charge. It should allow for higher velocity with less powder from what Im told, over the standard rem case.

Ive got a 260rem now and AI’s have always been appealing to me. Ive thought about having the chamber reamed to AI but not sure the gain is worth the cost.

You should be able to push a 140 class bullet up around 2950 with about 2 more grains of powder. It makes an already great cartridge into an incredible one.

Who did you have cut your chamber?

I did mine. Im guessing Stomp did his since I bought my reamer from him.

Yep, I did.

Wondering if you had any light primer strikes when fire forming? I might be slightly long on my headspace. I get close to 1 of 10 rounds no ignition. I put a new primer in and then no issue.

Also notice the light strikes are on rounds that measure shorter by a few thousandths on gage line.
