Elk Antler Progress

The mass on that bull is unreal, almost looks like a moose antler.

I'm at greens peak in unit 1, day 7 and big heards of cows grouped up 50 plus and the bulls have been 1 or 2 ,3 together. 67 degrees for the high and rain every day. Cheers!

See any coyotes? My son and I saw a handful when we were there. Notably more than we usually see. I wasn't quick enough with the AR to rectify that.

Just got a glimpse of a bachelor herd of bulls this weekend in my elk unit. The landscape looks good though, tons of tall green grass and every tank we checked had good amounts of water. Hopefully makes for a good rut. Cows are all looking healthy and fat.

No I have not, not 1 deer or any turkeys either. A few antelope.

I'm listening to a Bull as we speak.  3 nights ago was very active.  Then 2 quiet nights.  Tonight, starting off active.  But then again, the ELKS are playing St Johns tonight.

My nephew lives near a golf course in flagstaff, and he has been hearing the bugles early morning for last few days.
