To make this run on an existing mil spec AR15 lower you would need: -5/24 thread protector or muzzle device of your choice. -AR15 charging handle -a complete 6.5 grendel bolt carrier group or convert an existing bcg with a type 2 grendel bolt. Have a gunsmith check headspace or rent headspace gauges and do it yourself. Brownells has good videos on this simple process. -pin to your lower and you're ready to go. Depending on what load/ammo you choose, you may need to change your buffer and spring. Just FYI, there are many AR15 lowers manufactured to different specs, so it is possible this would not match up to some. I listed the ones I tried and all worked.
