yeah for most of the lakes for gas-powered outboards. But if you don't deploy the outboard and only use the trolling motor then you're good.

Yup, used a 17' Bass Tracker w/ a 40 horse hanging off the back at Hawley and Reservation many a time. Just left the gas tank at home so I couldn't even be accused of running it and used the space for an emergency battery for the troller in case it was windy and the normal 2 wouldn't make a full day.
