Buckhunter Report post Posted February 10, 2009 Went to Okalhoma to visit my parents over the New year and did some hand gun hunting for Feral Pigs but came across this Armadillo. Also did some fishing on the pond. 28degrees with a 10 mile wind in our face and still managed to catch a Bass.

DesertGhost Report post Posted February 10, 2009 did you clean that armadillo? I hear they are really good. smell all to high heaven - like a javalina stinks to high heck, but I hear they actually taste pretty good. never had one myself.
Buckhunter Report post Posted February 10, 2009 NO I wasn't that hungry! My friend wanted to mount it but the tail was almost shot off when I shot it the second time.
jeffcros Report post Posted March 11, 2009 It looks like it might have been hit by a car, did you just pose it up so you could take a pic?
MathewQuigly Report post Posted February 7, 2014 Can't go wrong with a 45 LC. Don't think I'd eat it heard they carry leprosy, I don't know just what I heard
Couestracker Report post Posted February 7, 2014 That's pretty cool! Nice family you have there. I'm guessing that you didn't have any luck with the feral pigs, since you didn't say anything about it. Nice work on the armadillo though.
