CouesWhitetail Report post Posted February 3, 2009 Yes, I know it's not a great photo, but still I was happy when I realized what was there. It was a first for me on a trail cam.
GHOSTLUVR Report post Posted February 3, 2009 At first I thought Lion! But no tail and the spots on the front of the back leg I realized bobcat. Neat picture.. That camera must be awesome to pick up that movement at so far out!!!!!!!
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted February 3, 2009 I think the cat must have been moving quickly also, or I would have caught it more in the middle of the pic. I was really wishing I had my Covert II out at that spot at that moment since it has a little more light and I might have gotten a better pic. But who knows. I was still happy to get it. At first I just thought nothing was there. I repositioned the cam the other day and set it to video, so maybe I will have some better stuff next time. CouesWhitetail Report post Posted February 3, 2009 Cool pic Amanda thanks for sharing. Now about this new bug you have caught There is now cure it is like a drug addiction I only own 6 cameras so I am kinda considered a A weekend indulger Have fun I agree.....this is a problem. Can't afford as many cams as I would like to set out....but WillHunt4Coues says he will loan me some cams if I want! Thanks Clay! Hate to be responsible for getting someone elses cam stolen though! The good thing is that it's fun to try and think up places that most people won't go and that have water so you can set out the cams and not worry about it. And again, I have to thank Clay for sharing a great spot with me. At least it makes for more interesting dog walks when there is a trail camera to go check! Gr8 White Jr Report post Posted February 4, 2009 Cool pic Amanda! It took me a second to find and thats knowing that something was there. If it was my camera I probably would have missed it and thought it was nothing. Makes me want to go back through all my "nothing" trail cam pics and study them a little bit closer. -Tracy
