Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted May 21 Not to get tooooooooooo bent out of shape but my frustration with San Carlos is the idea that I have to pay a fee, to travel across on their backroads to access national forest, then gates are locked and you have to be a criminal if you are trying to get to the national forest from the rez side.....................I have seen some pretty shady tactics over there on that line.................I quit going there, none of my money.................. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The old man that helped my Dad build a home in Alpine got caught up in the middle of that fiasco, I think someone bought the cabin and then had it moved. I learned a lot from that old guy about construction and how to do things right!!! I haven't been to Hawley for 20 years maybe.
