azyota Report post Posted February 1, 2009 Man it was close today but no cigar. I was camped out on a smaller 3x3 MD, when a pretty decent Coues (~90") pops out chasing a doe. I switched plans and made a quick gameplan for the Coues. I got to about 80yds when they both jumped a fence and went over the ridge. I got over the ridge but never saw them again. 1denogean Report post Posted February 1, 2009 been watching a 110 class whitetail in mule deer country and today saw the mulie and no whitetail. I stalked about 400 yards and was within shooting distance of the mulie and the does saw me and went nuts oh well I guess i will have a chance again in august.
