Little Creek Calls Report post Posted April 20 My son made a great shot on this Tom opening morning. It was fun to hear him gobble when he was really close, it was so loud you can almost feel it. He strutted for us for like 15 minutes. I was happy my son was patient and waited for the right opportunity and got a clean one shot kill. So true, after the Sunday morning hunt, my son suggested I find a call that I can be more consistent with. He said, " Dad, you don't sound like the actually hens, maybe you should try a box call" He had the nerve to tell me this after I called in toms on two separate setups...
