poll.

I know we all have hunting on the brain (otherwise we would not be on this site).

Just curious what we do in the outdoors besides hunt.

what happened to the good-ol-fashioned camp out? :P

ive gotta add scouting, depending on tags drawn. Also watchin bucks before they drop the headgear and checkin out new areas. Spent alot of time last year doing this and could not believe some of the new areas i found.

I figured that scouting, shed hunting, archery 3-D etc would be hunting related, so I did not include them in the poll. Guess camping could go under "other". The poll limits one to 20 choices.

Good Topic RR-

I have a personal goal to explore at least 1 designated wilderness area each year. So far I have NOT been disappointed by that simple goal. Bear Wallow Wilderness in 08' and so far I've been checking out White Canyon Wilderness in 09' - Great country ...

I try to spend most of my off season free time researching new areas and, starting this year, reloading. Can't wait to try the 210 Bergers and 208 A-Max's in my 300 RUM and fling some lead at some coyotes while looking for sheds and possible honey holes up here in my neck of the woods. Carp only though :(

2) Horn Huntin'.... w/ my dog.... ;)

3) Road huntin'.... just drivin' the back roads and trails of this great state in my Ranger... w/ my wife, dog, and.... (you guessed it!) ...my beverage of choice!!!   :P :P

4) #3 plus settin' and checkin' trail cams! ;)

5) Going to my cabin and doing #3 and #4.... ;)

Somehow I missed this topic. Interesting one. Wildlife watching/camping is a choice I would have added, but I see you already had lots of choices. I picked nature photography and geocaching. I haven't done a ton of geocaching, but I have enjoyed what I have done. Found four caches and placed a new one this past weekend while teaching some ladies how to geocache in a weekend workshop.

I suppose some of my "other" would be trail cameras, shed hunting, scouting new spots etc.

AZP&Y, I like your annual goal!
