Hoss50 Report post Posted April 1, 2024 Hi All, I have an older 110FP 300 win mag that I am planning to covert to 9.3x62. Basically I need to make it work as a 3006. Has anyone done this conversion and help me figure out what I need beside the bolt head? I am seeing that I may have a large hole bolt face and magnum length firing pin, but PTG shows their bolt faces use small firing pin. Do I need a new firing pin too? Couesdeer Report post Posted April 1, 2024 You will need to change the firing pin out. Midway carries them for $6. I just did the same. Replaced a bolt head and realized I needed the firing pin after trying to assemble with the old pin. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
