HJH Report post Posted March 17, 2024 Wife and I got lucky on our "swing for the fences" first choice (thinking we would draw late rifle cow on 5 points) and drew 22S early muzzy bull. No complaints here and looking forward to it, but I have spent little time in 22. More time in 23 chasing javelina. This will be her intro into all things elk, and really big game hunting in general for all practical purposes. Planning for a base camp scenario nightly at the truck so I don't ruin her from the beginning. Now I'm thinking wall tent w/ stove, cots, etc. (I don't have that stuff yet....) Busy summer with an out of state move as well. Good times!
