The hunts are over

Well the hunts are over and it getting time for me to get geared up do do some flathead fishing . just waiting for the spring run off to start . been out looking for some more holes to fish and have found a few good ones . here are a couple pic from last year .

Holy crap! Those are some huge fish. I've yet to catch a flathead but will give it a try this spring. Any suggestions?

Find some deep holes use live bait . small carp , blue gills , or large waterdogs . most of the big ones will be cought at night . and have a rod and reel that will handle a big fish . or dont even try .

fishing for flatheads is like hunting in a blind you may set there a couple days befor you get a bite and sometimes you will get hits all day long

Good looking flatheads....... Yeah hunting season might be over but the bass will be moving up on beds to spawn soon

Who says the hunts are over? My javelina hunt starts February 6, followed May 1 by my turkey hunt.

I've got 3 trips over seas planned already & am planning on doing some serious trail-camming this year. Hopefully I'll draw an elk tag too, just cuz I want to make sure I don't get bored....
