TrackerG Report post Posted February 22, 2024 I recently drew a San Carlos Coues deer tag for Unit B in November of this coming year, my old man has the same timeframe in unit C. I know its a long shot, but does anyone have any recommendations? Portions of the units to focus on? Areas to stay away from? Deer populations? are the deer real pockety or are they a little more widespread like the souther AZ units? I plan on scouting in the early velvet and getting up into the mountains 3 days before the hunts start. Thanks for any help.

Mattman215 Report post Posted March 2, 2024 Ya I could be wrong. However last time I hunted SCAT all those hunts were guide required with minimum days. Would be nice if they changed it. I may have to look into that myself.
TrackerG Report post Posted March 2, 2024 B and C do not require a guide and haven't. D and rc100 require a guide.
