Jfos Report post Posted December 13, 2023 Hey everyone, been awhile since I posted on here, but I just moved from Phx to Sahuarita, and I’m looking to do some bow hunting for mule deer. I want to stay relatively close to home, but I know there’s a lot of mule deer in the area. Planning on focusing on 34a mostly. Anyways just figured I’d post and see if anyone in the area is looking for a hunting buddy, or would be interested in coming along. I’m brand new to the area so it will take me some time to figure it out, but it’s usually more fun hunting with someone. I’ll even come help glass , just want to get out into the country. The OTC structure and quota system all together is what I was talking about, they are a lot quicker to remove portions of the year from allowable hunt dates as well as a result I feel like too, in addition to the quota closures. I’ve talked to several guys in town that despite all of game and fish warnings everywhere were hunting or were going to hunt closed areas due to closure ignorance.
