Hoss50 Report post Posted December 11, 2023 Has anyone seen any good deals or have recommendations for good starter binoculars for kids? My almost 9yr old is wanting his own bino pack and binos for Christmas. I like the 8x42 and 10x42 Diamondbacks from Vortex because of the warranty and clarity for the price. I see that Sportsman's has the 10x for $130. Any other recommendations or have you seen any other great Xmas deals out there? Crazymonkey Report post Posted December 11, 2023 Can't go wrong with either . I've gotten sets of each for the kids giveaway . You can sometimes get them from either with there included harnesses but I've never liked them from either so I've been fortunate that Marsupial has donated or given me huge discounts so I can aquire there harnesses for the kids. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He saw the guides 3 pouch marsupial gear chest harness on my sandhill hunt and now has to have one. I always use the normal cheap chest straps. He also wants all the stuff to fill it. Binos, rangefinder, calls, etc. He is going to be expensive this year. He doesn't know it buy is also getting his first rifle for Xmas. They just relocated and there ne building is awesome lots of cool mounts and you can look thru the big glass windows and see them making products. The bino harness is going to be from Santa though, so I can't take him til later. I will probably run over there this week. Hoss50 Report post Posted December 15, 2023 The little turd is going to have a nice Xmas. He is going to end up with Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42 binos and a marsupialgear.com chest case. He is going to have to earn the rangefinder and rangefinder add on pack from marsupial. At least now I will be able to get my 8x42 binos back that he stole from me when he started going hunting with us.
