msgbarney Report post Posted January 14, 2009 WOW!!!!!!!Glad that wasn't me, I would have pooped my pants if I saw that, my rifle would have been pointing backwards, probably rolled down a cliff, stuck my eye with a cactus and I might have pee'd a little. Thats a freak of nature. Amanda if you go down there to score him bring some of those genetics back this way, sprinkle some out of your window from Hereford all the way up to Flagstaff. Coach Report post Posted January 15, 2009 What an amazing buck. I sure hope the hunter realizes what a rare trophy that really is. Congrats to all involved - freaking amazing. I can't help but think about how ironic it is that this might be a first time coues hunter, when the vast majority of guys and gals who dedicate themselves to coues hunting might NEVER see a buck like that in the field. GRONG Report post Posted January 15, 2009 Thats just plain sick I was thinking Cactus Buck till I saw the sheds Cactus buck? Come on Mike most if not all cactus bucks have velvet on their antlers and rarely, if ever, shed the velvet. You need to enroll in Antlerology 101 again and no sleeping this time!! That's just hard-core horn porn right there buddy. genetics + age = GREATNESS!
Hunterjohnny Report post Posted January 15, 2009 I would have been thinking there was a bunch of branches tangled on him! Let's not forget the poor boy next to him who shot a great deer and is sitting very sadly (look at the picture) and alone. Everyone is around the other deer. I would be out of the picture still looking for mine.
